Type of scar removal treatments
Treatments include steroid injections, microneedling, filler injections, laser treatments, chemical peels, and scar revision. All procedures are performed by a skilled cosmetic doctor or an aesthetic therapist who is trained in that area.
When the skin or a layer of tissue is cut or damaged, it heals by making a scar. How your skin will look depends on many things, like the size and depth of the wound or cut, where it happened, your skin type, your age, your genes, and your sex. All of these things will change how your skin acts.


How many different kinds of scars are there?
There are different kinds of scars, such as:
Keloid scars : A keloid scar is a thick raised scar. It can occur wherever you have a skin injury but usually forms on earlobes, shoulders, cheeks or the chest. If you’re prone to developing keloids, you might get them in more than one place. A keloid scar isn’t harmful to your physical health, but it can cause emotional distress.
Hypertrophic scars : A hypertrophic scar is a thick raised scar that’s an abnormal response to wound healing. They more commonly occur in taut skin areas following skin trauma, burns or surgical incisions. Treatments include, injections, lasers and surgery.
Contracture scars: Contractures are an abnormal occurrence that happens when a large area of skin is damaged and lost, resulting in a scar. The scar formation pulls the edges of the skin together, causing a tight area of skin
Acne scars : Bad Acne will most probably leave a scar behind. There are many different kinds of acne scars, ranging from deep pits to scars that are angular or wavelike in appearance. Derma rollers, chemical peels, dermal filler injections, and lasers are all possible treatments.
Stretch marks : This kind of scar is made when the skin is quickly stretch (eg during a teenage growth spurt or pregnancy).
